Fall DPI In-Services      
The DPI sectional in-services are held across the state and all secondary ag teachers are encouraged to attend. Each section selects a unique date and location each year, organized by the respective WAAE Board Representatives. DPI Agriculture and Natural Resources Education Consultant presents various training topics in the morning with the afternoon normally consisting of a speaker and/or tour. WAAE Board Representatives facilitate a sectional meeting during the lunch hour at the in-person meeting.

NAAE Convention      
The premier national event of the year for ag teachers. Two conferences in one location - NAAE Convention (specifically for ag teachers) and ACTE VISIONTech Conference (for all CTE teachers).

ACTE’s National Policy Seminar      
Join CTE professionals at ACTE’s National Policy Seminar to engage on key education policy topics, hear best practices for influencing federal policy related to CTE advocacy and messaging, and participate in Capitol Hill visits.

WAAE Professional Development Conference (PDC)      
Is a must-attend annual professional development conference that can transform your agricultural classroom. PDC provides attendees with a rich array of networking opportunities and sessions presented by agricultural educators and industry professionals for agricultural educators that will invigorate you, improve student success, and give you the latest on emerging trends in our profession.
