National FFA Delegate Selection      
The Wisconsin Association of FFA has been allocated 12 voting delegates for the 2026 National FFA Convention Business Sessions and committee work.  In order to fill 12 spots, there will be a selection process to choose one individual to join the state officer team at the 2026 National FFA Convention.

SELECTION PROCESS:
Step 1:   Complete the National FFA Delegate application by August 12, 2026
Step 2:   Email Application to Cheryl Zimmerman, FFA Executive Director - czimmerman@wisconsinffa.org
Step 3:   The top applications will be selected for an interview.
Step 4:   Interview will be conducted around September 1 to make the final selection.

Applicants for the National Delegate position must be available to leave for National FFA Convention on Sunday October 18 and fully participate in the convention through Saturday October 25.  Preference will be given to those applicants that are not competing in other events during the convention.

Middle School Essay Contest      

Middle School Essay Contest 

Entries Due April 15 


All FFA members in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade are eligible to compete in the Wisconsin FFA Middle School Essay Contest. 

 A chapter can submit up to five entries.  
This year’s theme for the essay contest is “Activate”.   

 

Essays can be up to 500 words and must be typed.  

Essays are judged on proper grammar and punctuation, how well the author addresses the theme, organization and clarity, originality and neatness. 

Essays will be submitted on wisconsinaged.org in event registration.
